Why AfriMedi? Because finding a doctor by ”word of mouth” referrals from family and friends just isn’t enough.

AfriMedi Healthcare Solutions is an open platform that claims to give patients quicker access to healthcare services, especially in urgent cases. The platform was launched with a vision to revolutionize the way patients find doctors and access healthcare in Africa, AfriMedi is offering an efficient, responsive and free way to find a nearby doctor or specialist in Africa; and instantly book an appointment online.

AfriMedi Healthcare Solutions was founded by Chijioke Solomon, Austin Ike and Jason Chudy and launched on the 17th of April, 2014.

The startup is on a mission to save lives through improved access to healthcare. AfriMedi competes with the many doctor directories in Africa and the already established – and dare I say, efficient- ”word of mouth” referrals from family and friends.
