Hack for Big Choices is set to host Africa’s best, brightest and most ambitious entrepreneurs and innovators at its hackathon billed for later this February.

Hack for Big Choices is a San-francisco based non-profit which, according to a statement on its website, is on a mission to empower talented people to solve local problems by developing innovative products and businesses.

The event is slated to hold at Hub Accra in Accra, Ghana between 20-22nd of February. According to Aurora Chisté, co-founder of Hack for Big Choices, “Future population growth in Africa will depend upon the culture and infrastructure that we can build today with technology and tools that enable innovation.

Chiste says the programs seeks to contribute to the ongoing process of transforming West Africa by driving the economy to become more innovative-driven.

Hack for Big Choices is working with Hub Accra and the Meltwater Entrepreneurial School of Technology to will both provide long-term support to novel projects pitched at the hackathon.
