The Johannesburg chapter of the global Entrepreneurs’ Organisation will be launching an accelerator programme for the first time on Thursday, 26 March 2015.

The accelerator is designed to catapult first staged businesses/startups with a turnover of at least R2 million to mount up the ladder of success through solid networking, mentoring, and structured education contents focused on the core of business.

The accelerator will empower first stage member entrepreneurs with tools for growth to more than R10 million in sales. Also, there’s a give away prize of one year membership and extensive one on one mentoring to one lucky first stage South African entrepreneur.

To be eligible, you must meet these criteria: be a founder of an operating business with gross yearly returns between R2 and R8 million; Should have completed the application process and verify sales criteria; and must have passed an interview with the local entrepreneurs’ organisation.

30 candidates that meets the criteria will be selected to be a part of this accelerator program.

Participation will cost R22, 500.

EO is currently running accelerators for startups in 46 countries including Nigeria, Ghana, South Africa.
