Global Hackathon Seoul
The Seoul Metropolitan Government has announced the start of registration for the global hackathon that will hold in the city.

The event, which is sponsored by the Seoul Metropolitan Government in collaboration with the international Global Hackathon NGO, will bring together developers, designers and entrepreneurs who will come up with innovative technological solutions that will inspire the digital community within Seoul.

According to Won-soon Park, Mayor of Seoul, “the Global Hackathon Seoul 2015 will bring together many young people, university students, and developers from around the world to share innovative technologies and ideas and to build global networks.”

The Hackathon will hold from July 29 to August 1, 2015 at the Coex in Seoul, South Korea and will host about 2000 hackers from around the world within the ages 18 to 25. The organisers will reimburse the travel fee of international attendees but will not cover their accommodation expenses.
