The Ghana-based incubator, Meltwater Entrepreneurial School of Technology (MEST) has announced it is hosting a meet-up for Nigerian Entrepreneurs-in-Training (EIT) applying into its one-year programme.

In a statement to TechCabal, MEST says the meetup is so the incubator will get “to know candidates who’ve applied online in advance of the in-person interviews taking place in June.”

The meet-up will hold on Friday, at the 440NG Garage (Moorhouse).

This is MEST’s second call for entries from Nigerian entrepreneurs and innovators, after the first cohort from Nigeria were admitted into MEST in 2014.

MEST says it looks out for entrepreneurs who have strong interest in technology and software, personal drive, stamina, self motivation, confident and independent thinking with the desire to teamwork, excellent communication skills as well as the ability to meet goals and deadlines.

MEST’s partners, Interswitch, Softcom and recently signed Samsung will be actively involved in the meetup event.
