Lagos-based accelerator, Wennovation Hub, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with London-based multinational publishing and events company, Informa, to jointly organize the maiden edition of entrepreneurs hub for startups that will take place at NigeriaCom 2015.

The East African edition of the program was co-organized by the iHub and Informa in Nairobi, Kenya.

According to a Wennovation Hub news release, the Entrepreneurs’ Hub at the NigeriaCom 2015 will give five entrepreneurs/startups an opportunity to pitch their ideas to win prizes, while enabling 15 other entrepreneurs/startups to enrol in a mentorship program facilitated by the Wennovation hub and Informa.

NigeriaCom is the conference and exhibition designed to support and serve knowledge and content development for the ICT industry in Nigeria.

“The Entrepreneur’s Hub is a meeting place for start-ups where ICT mentors will provide business growth opportunities, help finding customers, getting guidance, raising funds and help scale up your business,” said Adam Thompson, head of content, Informa.”

Application for NigeriaCom conference opens by July 1 and will close by August 12, 2015.
