Lagos-based marketing and branding company, Connect Marketing Services, has announced it is partnering with MTN Nigeria, to host the first Tech+ event.

The Tech+ event is a technology conference and exhibition that, according to the company, will be a gathering of all things technology and enable all participants appreciate and experience the transformative power of technology.

The event will hold between July 24 and 25, 2015, at Eko hotels and suites in Victoria Island, Lagos.

The theme of the event is; “Leadership in Digital Technology”.

Olubayo Adekambi, Chief Marketing and Strategy Officer, MTN  said “Tech+ is a landmark event that seeks to offer the platforms for engagement and new experience in the world of technology.”

The event will feature, exhibitions, gaming sessions, the digital school, programming, as well as panel discussions led by speakers drawn from local and global brands including co-founder of Square, Jim McKelvey; CEO, Jumia Africa, Nicolas Martin, and Wael Fakharany of Google X Middle East and Africa.

As part of the event, the organizers say Uber is offering free rides of up to NGN 5,000 Uber credits. There is also a NGN 1.5 million cash prize for winners at the Tech+ gaming center.
