Jekalo, the carpooling platform based in Lagos, has just dropped an Android app.

The platform, created by Motoni Bolarinwa, was developed for people to share the empty seats in their cars with others heading in the same direction. The app was launched on Saturday, October 13.

It includes a messaging feature at the right pane and notifications that will allow in-app interaction between users, saving call costs in the process. Both Motoni, the Lead Developer, and Dolapo Kayode, the Business Development Executive at Jekalo, will be available on users’ contact lists to respond to any enquiries.
