The Black Friday fever really caught on in Africa this year. Over here in Nigeria, we had a lot of participants, mostly ecommerce websites. That didn’t stop some companies from plugging themselves into the Black Friday vibe.
And when I consider that fact that initially, Black Friday was exclusively a retail store event, you’ll see how far we’ve come. Consider the following players:
Or Alphabet? I don‘t even know anymore. All I know is I saw the company’s Black Friday Deal alert and I nearly fell off my seat. I thought the search engine was finally up for grabs or something. What else do they want to offer at a discount that would be worth anything? Google Glass? Still in limbo.
Apparently, some Nexus(es), Chromebooks and Movies will be on discount all through the weekend. Shrugs….
