Uber Lagos and Wecyclers will pick up all your recyclable waste on April 21st

So, this is happening. It’s Earth Day, on April 21st and Uber Lagos is teaming up with Wecyclers to collect everyone’s recyclable waste between 8am and 1pm. They have restricted the items to be collected to paper, metal, plastics and glass. That means no electronics, light bulbs, baby diapers (lol), batteries, milk cartons et al.
How does it work? you ask

This thursday, open your app, slide to UberRECYCLE and request an Uber to pick up your items for FREE #uberRECYCLE pic.twitter.com/0t6Q92UFZd

Uber has created a whole section like UberX and UberBLACK, called UberRECYCLE. It should appear on your slider on Thursday, April 21 and if you select the option between 8am and 1pm, an Uber driver/partner will head your way to pick up the items.
“Egbon Uber, if it’s the trash you want, come and collect it.”
