Following the success of its debut edition in Kano, Arewa Tech Fest is back with renewed energy and impact. Scheduled for May 20th–22nd, 2025, this year’s edition promises to amplify
innovation, spark collaboration, and equip a new generation of builders and founders across Northern Nigeria.
The festival was created to bridge the opportunity gap in Nigeria’s tech ecosystem, especially in underserved regions. Arewa Tech Fest brings together startups, investors, tech professionals,
policy leaders, and innovators for three days of insight, inspiration, and connection.
This year’s event includes a dynamic mix of masterclasses, fireside chats, product exhibitions, and the highly anticipated Pitchathon, where selected startups will compete for funding and mentorship.
Katsina was chosen for its growing youth population, expanding digital activity, and forward-looking leadership that is actively enabling technology-driven development.

The long-term goal of the festival is to catalyze a self-sustaining tech ecosystem in Northern Nigeria—one that empowers talent, attracts investment, and creates lasting economic
opportunities.
Arewa Tech Fest 2.0 is open to tech professionals, students, entrepreneurs, ecosystem builders, and anyone interested in the future of innovation in the North.
