Celebrating women enterprise, the Cartier women’s Initiative award has announced opening for 2015 edition, calls for committed female entrepreneurs heading businesses in different regions of the world with potential for significant growth in years to come.

The Cartier Women’s Initiative awards has supported over 100 female entrepreneurs worldwide. Each year, 18 finalists are selected, 6 of whom will become Laureates.

For the 2015 edition, the six Laureates that will emerge from six geographical regions will receive a unique and comprehensive support package: US $ 20, 000 of funding, one year of coaching, networking opportunities and media exposure.

The six world regions are Latin America, North America, Europe, Sub-Saharan Africa, the Middle East & North Africa, and Asia-Pacific.

In a statement on the website, Stanislas de Quercize, CEO of Cartier said, ‘‘The Cartier Women’s Initiative Awards are much more than a competition. Everyday these women raise to the challenge of matching social impact with economic value and initiatives like this are essential to share new models and build responsible businesses. There is something very special about a community of driven women entrepreneurs federating these values.’’

Deadline is February 27, 2015 10a.m Paris time (CET) and the competition is open to women from any country, nationality and industry.

The business project to be considered for the Cartier Women’s Initiative Awards must be:
An original for-profit business creation, In the start-up phase: between one and three years of operation, The main leadership position must be filled by a woman.

The Cartier Women’s Initiative Award offers funding, coaching, networking opportunities and exposure. It is a unique opportunity for early-phase women entrepreneurs to take their companies to the next level.

The Cartier Women’s Initiative Awards is in partnership with the Women’s Forum, INSEAD business school, McKinsey & Company.
