A few hours ago, the NECOM House, Marina, which hosts the NITEL/Mtel office, caught fire. The incidence was reported by eyewitnesses and pictures were shared across social media.
Now, The ScoopNG are reporting that the fire has been averted. The reports says that “the fire did not cause any extensive damage and no life was lost as the management of NITEL moved quickly to bring things under control.” The fire broke out on the 32nd floor but was quickly contained by NITEL staff and firemen.
