Clane, a leading provider of mobile payment solutions in Nigeria, is proud to announce that it has been issued a Payment Solution Service license by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN). This license category is a 3-in-1 license that allows Clane to operate as a Payment Terminal Service Provider (PTSP), a PSSP, and a super-agent, providing agency banking services.

Clane has built a two-sided mobile payment network that is positioned to simplify payment collection and transfers. It is deploying in Nigeria by offering its business payment product (ClanePOS) and a business management dashboard optimized to help shop owners get better sales reporting and customer follow-up.

In addition, the PSS license allows Clane to offer a wide range of payment services, including a web payment gateway for online merchants, direct debit solutions, account-based mobile payment solutions, and other value-added services.

“We are thrilled to have been issued this license by the CBN,” said Dipo Alabede, CEO of Clane. “It is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our team, and it allows us to continue providing innovative and reliable mobile payment solutions to our customers. We believe that the future of payments is Mobile and we are excited to be at the forefront of this movement.”

Clane

is committed to working closely with the CBN and other regulators to ensure compliance with all regulations and to provide safe and secure mobile payment solutions to its customers.
