Organisers of the Africa Technology Expo (ATE) have announced the third edition of the event, scheduled to take place June 26–27, 2026, at the National Theatre in Lagos, where more than 6,000 technology leaders, C-suite executives, Tech buyers, and policymakers are expected to gather.
The Expo is a pan-African, enterprise-focused technology platform that brings together decision-makers across business, government, and the innovation ecosystem to explore opportunities shaping Africa’s digital and industrial future.
According to organisers, previous editions of the Expo facilitated an estimated $198 million in partnerships, investment conversations, and MOU, reflecting growing interest in Africa’s technology infrastructure and enterprise innovation sectors. For the 2026 edition, the event is targeting up to $890 million in potential ecosystem deal activities, including partnerships, investments, and enterprise contracts expected to emerge from the gathering.
The 2026 edition marks a strategic expansion from a one-day event to a two-day programme, designed to deepen engagement across Africa’s technology and policy ecosystem. The event will feature executive roundtables, keynote sessions, live technology demonstrations, and an exhibition floor showcasing emerging technologies across robotics, Internet of Things (IoT), connectivity infrastructure, and enterprise digital solutions.
Organisers say the Expo aims to create a platform where operators, enterprises, C-Suite Executives, and regulators can engage in conversations that translate into partnerships and commercial opportunities, making the event the single largest boardroom of Africa’s technology economy.
Ahead of the main event, the programme will also include the Doing Business in Africa (DBIA) Tour, a curated three-day experience hosted by Itana, designed to provide investors, operators and enterprise leaders with practical insights into Africa’s regulatory and operational landscape while creating early networking opportunities.
Commenting on the upcoming edition, Nnaemeka Clinton, the CEO of Africa Technology Expo, said:
“Africa’s technology ecosystem is entering a phase where infrastructure, enterprise innovation, and global collaboration must converge to unlock the next wave of growth.
By expanding to a two-day format, we are creating more opportunities for meaningful conversations, partnerships, and investment across the continent’s technology ecosystem.”
