    Two big funding news out of Africa today; the bitcoin startup, BitX has secured $4million dollars in a Series A funding round led by Naspers. In similar development, Nigeria-based mobile payments company, Simplepay has also been juiced up with new funding from Nigeria’s Bank of Industry.

    SimplePay Receives Funding from Nigeria’s BOI
    Lagos-based Payments startup, SimplePay has raised new funding from Nigeria’s Bank of Industry in deal that will see the CEO of BOI, Olaoluwa Rasheed join the company’s board.
