ASUS Dialpad

A swipe from the right-hand side on the touchpad lights up the DialPad – the Vivobook Pro 16X OLED’s virtual control dial that works like magic. Keyboard and Connectivity
The keyboard on the Vivobook Pro 16X OLED (N7600) is unique and showcases a very distinct design including an extra NumPad section at the right, with some clear color coding for different groups of keys. The keys are properly sized and shaped and the feedback and typing experience are considerably good. The illumination system is white, with 3 brightness levels to choose from, a dedicated Caps Lock indicator, and the ability to re-activate the lighting by swiping your fingers over the ClickPad when it times out. The keyboard also has a Single Sign-On (SSO) fingerprint.
ASUS has delivered a good blend of connectivity options for the Vivobook Pro 16X OLED. As a laptop designed for creators, there are a few things that should have been included in the connectivity ports; and they are an extra USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C port, there being only one. These days, more devices require a USB Type-C connection, so this would have been very valuable. The Vivobook Pro 16X OLED (N7600) could have also benefited from the extra bandwidth an HDMI 2.0 port provides compared to the HDMI 1.4 port currently available. However, the addition of Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity means there are other fast ways to transfer data.
