DEMO Africa is an annual conference targeted at investors, entrepreneurs, and people in tech media looking for Africa’s ‘next big thing’. This year, 40 startups from across the continent will be given a platform to launch their products on the DEMO Africa stage.
DEMO Africa 2014 will hold at the Lagos Oriental Hotel between the 22nd and 26th of September 2014. Tickets for the event are now available for purchase online. Investors are given the option of joining as VIP participants
The 40 finalists startups have been shortlisted, from a pool of over 400 applicants, through a rigorous screening process overseen by a jury that comprised some of the brightest minds in business and technology sectors across Africa. All 40 of them were unveiled earlier today at the iDEA Hub, Sabo, Yaba, Lagos. Here they are:

A catalogue of home designs, a web shop, and projects management tool.
Cube (Nigeria)
Enables anyone (whether individual or business entity) to accept card payments in person with their phone and without the internet.
Feedbackplus (Nigeria)
Lets customers give feedback to different organizations online or through a mobile app.
Foodstantly (Nigeria)
An online marketplace which provides customers with fresh and cooked food + home delivery services.
Hutbay (Nigeria)
A platform that helps real estate consumers find and share vital information about real estate, mortgages, and agents.
InstaCare (Nigeria)
Enables real-time verification & authentication of beneficiary’s health insurance.
Integrated Medics (Nigeria)
A web based application package to computerize any large scale hospital.
IroFit (Nigeria)
Mobile card payment system that allows merchants to accept card payments without an internet connection.
Jifunza (Rwanda)
Provides everyone equal access to the learning, loving and LOLing that digital content offers.
Kitiwa (Ghana)
