Hutbay has launched a marketplace for moving companies, Hutbay Movers.
Hutbay Movers will compliment the core service of the Lagos-based online real-estate marketplace, Hutbay.
The platform is a directory for moving companies, but it also allows users connect with moving companies with options to receive non-committal quotes from multiple companies, compare rates and read reviews from previous users.
“[We are] bringing transparency to a sector that has been, as it were, hidden from the public view. We are making moving as easy as booking an hotel or a flight. Hutbay makes money by charging referral fees,” the company states.
Hutbay says it is looking to build the product further in direction of users’ feedbacks, with features that will include maps to find movers and an improved mobile experience with a mobile app.
