The Co-Creation Hub has announced that it will host a pre-selection event for Nigeria startups looking to participate in the global Slush impact accelerator for 2015. Slush is a technology conference for startups and tech talents to meet top-tier international investors, executives and the media.
The Finnish Ministry for Foreign Affairs, UNICEF and couple other partners have been fielding applications for the event in collaboration with technology hubs across the world. In Nigeria, CcHub will shortlist startups that are globally scalable, have gained traction and that have a strong focus on technology who will go on to participate at the global event in Helsinki, Finland.
Upon application, startups will be called up to pitch their business at the Co-Creation Hub on July 31, 2015 before a panel of judges. The judges will select between two to four startups for a final interview phase, out of which at least one startup is expected to qualify for the Slush event.
The Slush Global Impact Accelerator 2015 will hold in Helsinki, Finland from November 11 to 12, 2015.
