Microsoft has launched the Lumia 435 and Lumia 532 smartphones along with their dual sim variants. The new mobile devices are targeted at price-conscious emerging markets.

The Lumia 435 and 532 both come with standard Microsoft Lumia features. The devices run on the Windows 8.1 operating system with Lumia Denim. Each possesses front and back facing cameras, 1GB RAM and 8GB internal mass memory which is expandable. The Lumia 532 however runs on the 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor, while the Lumia 435 is powered by 1.2GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor.

As expected, the Lumia 435 and 532 come in the typical bright Lumia colour variants of green, orange, white and black.

According to Jo Harlow, corporate vice president of Microsoft Devices Group, “With the Lumia 435 and Lumia 532, we’ve realized our goal of creating the most affordable Lumia devices to date, opening up the opportunity to reach those people who are buying a smartphone for the very first time.”
