One of the things I complained about the most in my review of the Blackberry PRIV was the fact that it made no sense that a flagship phone was still running Android 5.1.1 up to 5 months after 6.0 was released and after Android N was announced.
Well, it seems like the update gods have finally smiled on Blackberry. A video that surfaced on YouTube just a few days ago shows what I assume to be a review unit running Android 6.0 Marshmallow. (I love the music in this video, by the way)

This is a step in the right direction for Blackberry, because Android OEMs are notorious for starving their phones of updates. Fun fact of the day: we are preparing for an Android N (please let N = Nutella) release, and only 2.3% of Android devices are running 6.0 Marshmallow. I’m willing to bet my kidneys that most of those devices are Google Nexuses that came with 6.0 in the first place. Sigh.
Q. What’s the difference between an Android update and the Easter Bunny?
A. One is a fairy tale that doesn’t exist & the other is a rabbit.
