Have you been paying attention? If you have, you’d have seen this and this – both articles about what’s quickly becoming one of my favourite companies in the world. Chinese smartphone company, LeEco has released three phones without headphone ports (before Apple), funded Faraday Future, made an electric car and now, they’ve built Le Super Bike.
Le Super Bike is what happens when you crossbreed a bicycle, an Android smartphone, a smart car and a freaking laser cannon. No, seriously – it does shoot red laser beams onto the road, to help prevent drivers from getting too close. It’s got 4-inch Android smartphone embedded into the handle bars, a 1.3GHz processor and 4GB of RAM to power it. There’s a heart rate sensor, built-in speaker, camera, an integrated alarm system and a ton of other cool features on the spec-sheet.
The Le Super Bike is already on sale in China for around $800, and it will reach the USA later this year, and possibly the rest of the world after that.
